Kathryn Garland received her B.S. in Missions from St. Paul Bible College (now Crown College, St. Bonifacius, Minn.).

Kathryn’s life purpose statement. . .

I bind myself to God’s authority, acknowledging His supremacy, and devoting myself to His glory and service alone.

“The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” Exodus 15:2

Kathryn received the Lord Jesus as her personal Savior at the age of eighteen. The night after this life changing event, God called her to serve Him as a missionary to South America. She and her husband Herb, are grateful to their Lord for the opportunity to serve Him from 1958 – 2001 as Christ’s ambassadors in home missions and overseas.

From the moment Kathryn found God’s pathway for her life, a love for Jesus and a knowledge of God’s Word has been her daily aspiration. She has been privileged to teach in pastoral and leadership preparation as well as lay training in both Colombia and Venezuela. Bible prophecy seems to be the area of Christian education in which the Lord has consistently enabled her. Kathryn has taught many courses of study that have greatly enhanced her gifting to teach Prophetic Events, such as, Prophecy, Hermeneutics, Bible, Church History, and Teaching Methods.

Herb and Kathryn had a joyful and adventurous family life with five “missionary” boys on the mission field. Their boy’s contribution to God’s work was invaluable. Their sons today are godly men, who love King Jesus and walk in His chosen pathway to do the works that God has prepared for them to do. Herb and Kathryn have five delightful daughters-in-law, seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
